The Book Awards are given by faculty and staff to students for academic, artistic, musical, and foreign language achievements. They also recognize service to the school and fellow students and students who have overcome significant obstacles or made extraordinary efforts to achieve their goals.
The Awards consist of certificates given to the students and books donated to the PHS library that contain a bookplate in which the students’ names appear. The books are selected by teachers and reflect students' interests.
